Advance Northumberland
Michael Black has extensive work experience in various roles within the economic growth and investments sector. Michael is currently the Director of Economic Growth and Investments at Advance Northumberland since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Investments at Arch from August 2015 to July 2018. Michael also served as the Commercial Property Manager at Arch Commercial Enterprise Ltd from March 2012 to July 2014, and as the Property Development Manager at Sunderland arc from January 2007 to March 2011. Previously, they held the position of Head of Major Projects at Newcastle City Council from October 1996 to December 2006. Michael started their career as a Commercial Property Manager at Keith Pattinson Commercial from 1992 to 1996.
Michael Black attended Northumbria University from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Estate Management.
