Marc Duquette

Marc Duquette has a strong background in environment, health, and safety (EHS) management. Marc has held various leadership positions in reputable companies such as Advanced Power, Drax Biomass Inc., Velcro Group Corporation, and Koch Membrane System, Inc.

In their most recent role as Director of Environment Health & Safety at Advanced Power, Marc provided strategic direction for the development and implementation of EHS programs across the company's generation facilities. Marc successfully managed permit compliance obligations for a major project and achieved a favorable outcome for air permits.

Prior to that, Marc served as Vice President of EHS at Drax Biomass Inc., where they oversaw EHS operations across bioenergy construction sites and a deep-sea port facility. Marc led the development and implementation of EHS action plans and strategies, supporting the company's rapid expansion.

At Velcro Group Corporation, Marc held the position of Director of EHS & Product Compliance. Marc managed EHS, product compliance, and sustainability programs on a global scale. Marc implemented management systems to ensure compliance and advised senior leadership on sustainability strategies.

Before joining Velcro Group Corporation, Marc worked as Director of EHS at Koch Membrane System, Inc., overseeing EHS compliance and management systems across multiple manufacturing locations. Marc successfully managed a facility and process expansion project and led negotiations for securing permits.

Marc's career in EHS management started at Velcro Companies, where they held the role of Manager of EHS & Quality Registrations. Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing EHS strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Marc Duquette earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science from Saint Joseph's College, which they attended from 1982 to 1986. Following that, they pursued certification in Hazardous Waste Management at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1988 to 1990. Marc went back to the same university for another certification, this time in Environmental Technology, which they completed from 1990 to 1993. Lastly, they obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Organizational and Environmental Sustainability from Antioch University New England, studying there from 2008 to 2010.
