Matthew Whalen, CPA, has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as the Director of Asset Management at Advanced Power since April 2015, overseeing accounting functions for major energy projects with a combined budget of $2.9 billion. Prior to this role, Matthew was a Financial Reporting Analyst at Atlantic Power Corporation, responsible for SEC filings and compliance with GAAP and SEC standards. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte, coordinating audit functions and ensuring compliance with financial standards, as well as serving as an Accounting Clerk at Norfolk & Dedham Fire Insurance. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Purdue University.
