Bob Koontz

Bob Koontz is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in leading global sourcing and procurement strategies. Currently serving as Chief Procurement Officer at Advance since June 2019, Bob has held prominent positions including Managing Director and Head of Global Sourcing at BNY Mellon, where responsibilities included overseeing supplier management for over $3 billion in annual expenditures. Previous roles include Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing at Viacom Media Networks, Head of Non-IT Procurement at Bear Stearns, and Principal at Acquis Consulting Group. Bob holds an MBA in Strategy and Operations from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Political Science from the University of Delaware.
