Ting Peng

Ting Peng has worked in a variety of roles in the field of research, data science, and instruction. In 2021, they began working as a Data Scientist for Advanced Agrilytics. From 2018 to 2021, they were an Instructional Associate at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 2012 to 2011, they were a Research Associate (Analyst) at Bayer Crop Science. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2011, they were an Intern at both Bayer and Bayer Crop Science. From 2008 to 2009, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant (National Wheat Genetic Lab) at Shandong University.

Ting Peng has a diverse educational background. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Shandong University, where they earned a B.S in Bioinformatics. From 2009 to 2012, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned an M.S in Genetics and Plant Breeding. Most recently, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2018, where they earned a Master's degree in Analytics. Additionally, Ting Peng has obtained several certifications from Coursera and the Georgia Institute of Technology, including an Introduction to Analytics Modeling, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), Python Data Structures, Using Databases with Python, Using Python to Access Web Data, and Data Visualization.
