Research Scientist at Advanced Animal Diagnostics

Danielle Stewart Noel has worked in the medical laboratory field since 2007. Danielle Stewart began their career as a Blood Bank Intern at Wake Forest Baptist Health in 2007. Danielle Stewart then moved to the same organization in 2008 as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, where they performed routine and complex testing for ABO/Rh and unexpected antibody determination, operated and performed maintenance on TANGO™ optimo automated blood bank analyzer, and prepared RBC, plasma, platelets, and cryoprecipitate for transfusion while maintaining optimal inventory. In 2010, they moved to the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, where they performed manual and automated testing in chemistry, coagulation, cytology, hematology, immunohematology, pharmacology, and urinalysis for amphibian, avian, mammalian, reptilian, and aquatic samples, and demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic methods including antigen-antibody reactions, chemiluminescence, light microscopy, and spectrophotometry. In 2014, they moved to Advanced Animal Diagnostics, where they held the roles of Research Scientist and Cytologist.

Danielle Stewart Noel obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2007-2008, followed by a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from the same institution in 2003-2007. Danielle Stewart then went on to earn a Master of Microbial Biotechnology from North Carolina State University in 2014-2016, followed by a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the same institution in 2016-2017. In July 2017, they obtained the MLS, (ASCP)CM certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
