Ron Woltjer

Ron Woltjer is a highly experienced design engineer with a robust background in product development and engineering across various industries. Currently serving as a Design Engineer at Advanced Battery Concepts since June 2021, Woltjer leads the design and development of battery energy storage systems, collaborating with fabrication and electrical consultants to create prototypes. Prior to this role, Woltjer was a Development Engineer at Andronaco Industries for 12 years, focusing on new product development, tooling, and manufacturing processes for a range of engineered products. Woltjer's career began at Nicholas Plastics LLC as a Product Development Engineer, where management of multiple projects from concept to production was a key responsibility. Woltjer holds a Bachelor of Science in Product Design Engineering Technology from Ferris State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Drafting Technology from Grand Rapids Community College.
