Shantanu Kulkarni

Shantanu Kulkarni is a seasoned Biomedical Engineer with extensive experience in product development and sustaining projects within the medical technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Biomedical Engineer at Advanced Bionics since July 2021, Shantanu oversees technical management for long-term sustaining projects related to cochlear implant products, focusing on electrical design improvements amid component supply challenges. Prior to this role, Shantanu spent 15 years at Pranalytica, progressing through various positions such as Product Development Engineer, Process Engineer, and Sensor Systems Test Engineer, where responsibilities included leading high-urgency projects, ensuring product quality, and implementing testing procedures for advanced sensing technologies. Shantanu's academic background includes a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rowan University.
