Sebastián Rivera Iunnissi

Sebastián Rivera Iunnissi currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Power Electronics for DC Systems at Delft University of Technology since January 2023. Concurrently, Sebastián holds positions as an Associate Researcher and Adjunct Researcher at the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering since December 2018. Past roles include Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Part-Time Lecturer at Universidad de los Andes from August 2018 to February 2023, and Part-Time Lecturer and Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María from March 2017 to December 2018. Additionally, Sebastián worked as a Power Electronics Researcher at RT Electronics SpA in 2017, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto from March 2016 to February 2017. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University obtained in 2015, a Master of Science in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María acquired in 2011, and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from the same institution in 2007.
