Buddy Baca has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several industries. Buddy began their career in the United States Marine Corps as an Aircraft mechanic from April 2004 to April 2009. Following their military service, they worked as a firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service from April 2009 to October 2009, where they gained valuable experience dealing with high-stress situations and was certified as a Fire Fighter Type 1.

Buddy then transitioned into the aviation industry, starting with HQ Aero Management Inc. as an Aviation Maintenance Technician in November 2011. During their time there, they performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various aircraft models, including Constucciones Aeronauticas CASA-212, Bell Helicopter Models 214-ST, and 412. Buddy gained extensive knowledge of civilian maintenance procedures and worked under the Federal Aviation Regulations.

In 2012, Buddy joined Air Methods as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. Buddy was responsible for performing maintenance tasks on multiple Airbus Helicopter and Bell Helicopter airframes. This role required him to set up work schedules, manage parts, and ensure adherence to the Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies. Buddy also completed Factory Field Maintenance Courses for specific airframes and engines.

Buddy's next position was with Metro Aviation, Inc., where they served as an Aviation Maintenance Technician for a brief period in November and December 2017.

Currently, Buddy holds the position of Director of Operations at Advanced Construction Robotics since March 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Field Operations Manager from July 2020 to March 2023. Additionally, Buddy held the role of Lead Technician from January 2018 to July 2020. In this position, they managed a team of field and assembly technicians, performed quality checks, and maintained production inventory for TyBot electrical and mechanical assemblies.

Buddy Baca attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General. In October 2011, they also obtained the certification for an Airframe, Power Plant, or Repairer License from the same institution.
