Mruthunjaya Uddi (Jay)

Mruthunjaya (Jay) Uddi is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to this role, Uddi served as an Assistant Professor at The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa from August 2015 to August 2021, where studies included plasma-catalysis for syngas and hydrogen production, as well as detonation physics. Uddi's experience includes positions as a Research Scientist and PostDoctoral Fellow at MIT, focusing on chemical looping and water splitting reactions. Earlier work as a CEFRC Fellow at the University of Connecticut and Princeton University involved advanced measurement techniques for combustion and plasma environments. Uddi holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a 5-year MTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
