Mac Duncan has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations, supply chain, and strategic sourcing. Prior to this, they worked as a Sourcing Manager at Greif, Inc., where they successfully negotiated improved costs and terms, resulting in a 5% decrease in the total cost of ownership of raw materials. Mac also held the role of Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain at Nachurs Alpine Solutions, where they implemented lean process improvements and achieved a significant decrease in the Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR). Mac Duncan served as the Supply Chain Director at Nexeo Solutions, LLC, overseeing a large number of customer and supplier transactions. Mac also has experience at Ashland Inc, where they worked as an Integration Director, Director of Purchasing, North American Business Manager, Quality Manager/Project Manager, Plant Manager, and Shift Supervisor. Mac Duncan received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1989. Mac then pursued further education at Webster University and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General between 1994 and 1996. During their time in the US Army, from 1989 to 1996, they completed various professional education programs focusing on Leadership, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Critical Thinking, and Decision Making. Finally, in 2005, Mac completed a Certificate of Completion in Financial Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
