Kan Zhong

Kan Zhong has extensive work experience in the field of electrical engineering, having worked with different companies in various capacities. Their most recent job was as an Electrical Engineer at Portable Electric, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at ElectraMeccanica from December 2019 to December 2022. Before that, they worked as an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer EIT at Buhler Versatile Inc. from May 2017 to July 2019 and as a Project Engineer EIT at Amphenol Technical Products International Co. from March 2014 to May 2017. They began their career as an Engineering Assistant at the Government of Manitoba in May 2012, participating in the provision of technical support for the investigation and troubleshooting of control systems and HVAC systems in buildings. Additionally, they worked as a Financial Advisor at Sun Life Financial, where they contacted potential and existing customers to set up appointments and managed customers' profiles from July 2009 to June 2010.

Kan Zhong completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manitoba from 2010 to 2013.
