Elizabeth Stears

Elizabeth Stears is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental policy and outreach. Currently serving as EV Policy Principal at Advanced Energy United since January 2022, Elizabeth previously held roles such as Policy Consultant at the Natural Resources Defense Council and Outreach and Engagement Liaison at Boston Harbor Now. With a background that includes positions like Interpretive Park Ranger at the National Park Service and Lead Field Organizer for the Renewable Energy Ballot Initiative at MT-Cares, Elizabeth has demonstrated a commitment to environmental advocacy and community engagement. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Environmental Studies and Anthropology from Middlebury College, along with additional education from the School of the Environment and the School for International Training.
