Nick Schou

Nick Schou has extensive experience in policy and conservation, currently serving as the Policy Director at Advanced Energy United since April 2024. Prior to this role, Nick held the position of Government Affairs Manager at Western Resource Advocates from August 2019 to April 2024 and served as the Conservation Director at Utah Rivers Council from November 2012 to August 2019. Earlier in Nick's career, work as a Boatman for the Colorado River Fish Recovery Program with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service from 2008 to 2012 provided foundational experience in environmental efforts. Nick holds a Master of Science in Environmental Humanities from the University of Utah (2010-2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Westminster University (2001-2005).
