Sarah Steinberg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sarah began their career as a Student Intern at the Connecticut State Elections Enforcement Commission, where they worked on issues related to elections and campaign finance. Sarah also served as a Student Intern at the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General, mediating conflicts between consumers and businesses.

Sarah then worked as a Library Preservation and Processing and Special Collections Assistant at Middlebury College, where they processed new books and media for the library system. Sarah also had a role at the Charter Oak Cultural Center as a Beat of the Street Administrative Intern, assisting with a program that provided resources for Hartford's homeless population.

In the political realm, Sarah served as a Field Organizer for the New Hampshire Democratic Party during the 2016 election, focusing on recruiting and training volunteers, as well as running campaign events. Sarah later worked as a Legislative Aide at the Massachusetts State House, where they handled legislative tasks, office management, and constituent services.

Sarah's most recent work experience is with Advanced Energy United, where they held multiple roles. As a Policy Principal, they led legislative and regulatory engagement in Nevada and supported engagement in Colorado and Indiana. Sarah developed advocacy strategies, managed a bi-weekly newsletter, and educated key decision-makers on advanced energy and transportation issues. Sarah also worked as a Policy Director, where they continued their legislative and regulatory engagement efforts.

In addition to their professional experience, Sarah has demonstrated their leadership skills at the United Way of Addison County, where they served as a Community Impact Volunteer for various committees. Sarah also has experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as a Shift Supervisor at JAKES WAYBACK BURGERS.

Sarah Steinberg attended Kingswood Oxford High School from 2008 to 2012. Sarah then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at Middlebury College from 2012 to 2016. During their undergraduate studies, they also studied Spanish, History, Economy, and Law at Universidad de La Rioja from 2014 to 2015. After completing their Bachelor's degree, Sarah continued their education by obtaining a Master's of Public Administration in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs from 2020 to 2022.
