Diarmuid Hogan

Diarmuid Hogan has a strong background in engineering with a focus on power supplies. Diarmuid has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. From 1995 to 2002, Hogan worked as a Design Engineer at Artesyn Technologies. Diarmuid then took on the role of Senior Design Engineer from 2002 to 2006. Hogan joined Excelsys Technologies Ltd. in 2006 and served as a Senior Design Engineer, where they developed and implemented processes for designing AC/DC power supplies. Diarmuid was later promoted to R&D Manager in 2011 and managed high-performance R&D teams in the development of power supplies for medical, industrial, and military applications. In 2017, Hogan joined Advanced Energy as a Manager of Engineering and worked their way up to Senior Manager of Engineering LV HV. Diarmuid currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at Advanced Energy, starting in July 2022.

Diarmuid Hogan earned a Diploma in Electronic Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, from 1990 to 1993. Diarmuid then pursued a B.Eng in Electronic Engineering from The University of Bolton, from 1993 to 1995. In 2012, they obtained the certification of Chartered Engineer from the Institute of Engineers Ireland.
