Philip Schmitt

Philip Schmitt, PMP, serves as the Sr. Director of RF Engineering at Advanced Energy since June 2022, following a diverse career in various engineering and management roles. Previously, Philip founded Adapt To Control, LLC, where development projects focused on Engineer to Order workflow management and automation through custom SQL and Python solutions. Philip's tenure at Advanced Energy also includes a role as Program Manager, leading critical development programs for RF business. Positions held at Vertiv involved managing a global team for new product development and overseeing a large engineering team for customized AC power solutions. Prior experience includes impactful roles at Ultraflex Power Technologies, Harris Corporation, and MKS Instruments, demonstrating expertise in program execution, engineering management, and product development. Philip holds an MS in Systems Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and a BE in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
