Test Engineer III at Advanced Farm Technologies

Grady Arendain-Collins began their career in 2013 as an IT/Computer Technician for the Roseville Joint Union High School District. In 2016, they became an Engineering Student Intern for the California Energy Commission. In 2018, Grady was one of four founders of the Chico Rocketry Club, serving as President and gaining design and fabrication experience of rocket components, simulation experience concerning geometry, material, and weight optimization/stabilization, and multiple collegiate launch experiences. In 2019, they worked as a Student Engineer for the Torres Community Shelter. In 2020, Grady worked as a Packaging Project Engineer for Barry-Wehmiller Design Group. Currently, they are a Test Engineer for advanced.farm, focusing on R&D testing to push past limits. Grady's duties include designing and building electromechanical test jigs, developing and executing test plans, reporting results of testing, designing and building commissioning jigs, and pneumatics optimization.

Grady Arendain-Collins received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico in 2019. In 2018, they obtained a NAR HPR Certification Level 1 from the National Association of Rocketry.
