Brett Olsher

Brett Olsher is a seasoned professional in the finance and clean technology sectors with significant experience in investing and executive leadership. As Co-Founder and CIO of GVP Climate since March 2022, Brett focuses on early-stage clean tech equity investing. Simultaneously, Brett founded OLEX in July 2019, serving as Managing Partner and emphasizing sustainable impact investing in climate solutions. In addition, Brett holds a position on the Board of Directors for CRU, contributing to the governance of the organization. Previously, Brett was a Partner at Goldman Sachs for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included co-heading global natural resources and participating in various investment banking committees. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Brett served as Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, leading the global mergers and acquisitions and natural resources divisions. Brett Olsher earned a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
