Senior Network Engineer at Advanced Logic Industries

Nicholas Rector has a range of work experience starting from 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Courtesy Clerk at Kroger before moving on to work at Virginia Tech in 2012. At Virginia Tech, they had various roles including Line Cook, Network Field Technician, and IT Support Specialist. Their responsibilities included assisting with day-to-day support, inventory management, and maintenance of lab and office equipment. In 2015, Nicholas joined Advanced Logic Industries as a Network Engineer where they assisted customers with implementation and support projects. Nicholas later transitioned to the role of Senior Network Engineer, where they worked on support tickets and provided customer updates.

Nicholas Rector attended New River Community College from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Nicholas continued their education at the same college from 2013 to 2014, focusing on Information Technology. In addition to their academic pursuits, Nicholas has obtained various certifications in the field of IT. Their certifications include SSFAMP and SSFIPS from Cisco, which they obtained in January 2016. Nicholas also holds the CCNP Security certification, obtained in December 2015, and the Meraki CMNA certification from Cisco Meraki, obtained in September 2015. Nicholas obtained several Cisco certifications in 2015, including Cisco CCNA Security, Cisco CCNA Route & Switch, and Cisco CCENT.
