Branden Moore

Branden Moore is a seasoned software engineer and manager with extensive experience in high-performance computing (HPC) and software optimization. Currently serving as a Fellow Software System Design Engineer at AMD since May 2022, Branden previously held the position of HPC Services Manager at NAG, where responsibilities included managing a technical consulting team and overseeing HPC services related to software optimization and cloud migrations. Prior to NAG, Branden was a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, focusing on software optimization for cybersecurity challenges. With earlier roles at GE Global Research and various positions during academic tenure at the University of Notre Dame, Branden possesses a strong foundation in software development, teaching, and research, holding both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
