Chuck Gilbert

Chuck Gilbert is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in high-performance computing and cloud infrastructure. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Cluster Platform Engineering at AMD, Chuck has also held significant positions such as Technical Director for Solutions Architecture in the Data Center and Embedded Solutions Business Group. Previous roles include Senior Manager for High Performance Computing at Oracle and Member of Technical Staff at Dell Technologies. Notable accomplishments include architecting a multi-million dollar Advanced CyberInfrastructure Research Cloud at Penn State University and leading pre-sales engineering support at Red Hat. Chuck's technical expertise spans software engineering, system architecture, and project management, underscoring a strong commitment to advancing research computing capabilities and integrating open-source technologies. Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
