Cong Yao

Cong Yao is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AMD, specializing in mechanical design and development for hyperscale server infrastructure. With extensive experience in managing mechanical and thermal challenges, Cong has led teams and collaborated with major cloud providers and manufacturers across Asia to achieve design excellence. Previously, Cong worked at ZT Systems, where they served in various roles, including Senior Manager and Manager of Mechanical Engineering, and was awarded 5 U.S. patents for contributions to mechanical design and thermal engineering. Cong earned a Master's degree from RIT and participated in a co-op at GE Appliances for hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and industrial design.
