Daire Breathnach

Daire Breathnach is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in wireless communication and program management, currently serving as Sr Director of Wireless Engineering at AMD since February 2022. Prior to this role, Daire held various leadership positions at Xilinx, including Director of Analog and Digital RF and AMS Program Manager, overseeing the development and market release of multiple generations of RFSoC products. Daire began a career in the semiconductor industry as a Principal IC Design Engineer at Movidius and has also worked in design and verification roles at S3 Group. Daire has a strong educational background with a 1st Class Honours BE in Electronic Engineering from University College Cork.
