Daniel Hernández Juárez

Daniel Hernández Juárez is a highly experienced technical professional in the field of computer vision and deep learning. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at AMD since July 2024, Daniel previously served as a Senior Research Engineer at Slamcore from May 2020 to May 2024, where contributions included developing a fast panoptic segmentation model and co-authoring an ICRA paper on depth completion. Prior experience includes roles at Huawei Technologies as a Research Engineer and Research Scientist, and at UAB - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where Daniel focused on embedded 3D reconstruction for autonomous driving during the PhD program. Daniel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, a Master’s in Computer Vision, and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, all from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
