Isao Sugiyama

Isao Sugiyama is an experienced business development professional currently serving as the Business Development Director for the Adaptive Embedded and AI group at AMD since September 2023. Prior to joining AMD, Isao Sugiyama spent 17 years at マクニカ, where roles included General Manager of the Cyber Security Business, managing a team of 150 staff, and overseeing various sectors such as IT & Network solutions, Semiconductors, and New Business Development. Notably, Isao Sugiyama launched innovative IoT and service robot initiatives and maintained successful partnerships with major telecom operators. Earlier experience includes positions at LSI, Macnica, and Canon Marketing Japan, as well as a brief career as a professional surfer. Isao Sugiyama holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Hosei University.
