Mahdi G. is an experienced AI Solutions Architect at AMD since November 2024, previously serving as the Director of Engineering at Aupera Technologies Inc. from September 2017 to September 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing engineering efforts, managing a team of over 20, and driving AI-driven product development. Mahdi G. has a strong background in machine learning and computer vision, having led the development of machine learning models for video analytics and generating revenue through successful projects. Additional roles include research and teaching assistant positions at the University of British Columbia, where Mahdi G. developed a visualization tool for CNNs and taught various computer engineering courses.
