Sue Weiland

Sue Weiland is a seasoned professional in silicon design engineering with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Silicon Design Engineering at AMD since August 2007, Sue oversees a team of design and verification engineers focused on graphics pixel pipe blocks for mobile products. Prior to this role, Sue worked as a Verification Engineer at EMC from September 2003 to August 2007, specializing in SOC verification within a C/C++ and Verilog environment, and at Zaiq Technologies from January 2001 to January 2003, verifying an IO Bridge for Intel. Sue began a career at Unisys in June 1995 as an Engineer, engaging in board designs, CAD layout, and FPGA testing after completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Penn State University in May 1997.
