Yao Fu

Yao Fu is a highly experienced professional in software development and AI solutions, currently serving as Director of Software Development for AI Training at AMD since July 2021. In this role, Yao Fu focuses on enhancing AMD's large-scale training solutions and improving their competitiveness in the AI training market. Prior to this position, Yao Fu held significant roles at Xilinx/AMD, including Principal Architect for Data Center Acceleration, where responsibilities included developing efficient deep learning deployment solutions and collaborating with engineers and partners. Yao Fu also served as a Research Scientist and Architect at Micron Technology, specializing in bioinformatics applications and Automata Processor design. Yao Fu's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Iowa State University and a BS in Life Science and Chemistry from Iowa Wesleyan College.
