Yucong Liu

YuCong Liu is a Silicon Design Engineer 2 at AMD, focusing on post-silicon validation for FPGA products, including tasks such as full-chip simulation and block-level IP ownership. Previously, YuCong held positions at Xilinx as a DFT Engineer 1 and Test Engineer 1, contributing to post-silicon DFT verification after the company's acquisition by AMD. YuCong began a career as a Hardware Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University, designing non-rotational optical LiDAR systems, and has experience as a Physical IC Layout Design Intern at MediaTek. In working with IN.Genius, YuCong contributed to a notable project involving a stratospheric balloon mission. YuCong holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minor in Computing from Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Leadership roles include positions in student organizations and initiatives at NTU.
