Overview of role

Reporting into our Chief Executive Officer, you will have the opportunity to lead and own the charge in defining and executing against our solutions roadmap throughout the complete product life cycle management. You will also make an impact that  will cut across the entire organisation. This role works closely with Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Sales to deliver  world-class products and solutions that will delight our customers and accelerate our market share growth. You will work collaboratively with marketing and sales leadership to help define the strategy and drive the go-to-market programs that deliver results.   

Roles and responsibilities

  • Own and lead the strategy for the company’s products/solutions portfolio and investments;
  • Establish and drive an end-to-end sprint/development process to build against our entire product/solutions roadmap during the complete product life-cycle management;
  • Identify and prioritise the needs of the markets and our customers across analytics, performance reporting, launch, and expansion;
  • Build, manage, and develop a team of product managers that are passionate about building best-in-class products/solutions;
  • Unlock new monetisation streams and sales opportunities through the features/products/solutions that we bring to market;
  • Conduct research - primary and secondary - to understand the markets, expectations, and competitive benchmarks across similar product offerings;
  • Build and maintain a system that measures and reports on product KPI metrics that continually provide a feedback loop on the solutions that we bring to market;
  • Lead and collaborate cross-functionally on the Go-To-Market strategies and plans when we are bringing our new products/solutions to market in order that all of our efforts are coordinated, teams are fully engaged/aligned and we achieve the ultimate market success;
  • Collaborate cross functionally and specifically with manufacturing to ensure we set, meet, and maintain incredibly high-quality standards for the products we deliver to our customers;
  • Work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that they have the proper messaging, value propositions, collateral and assets for our customer engagement opportunities;
  • Interface directly with customers to build strong relationships and feedback loops

Qualifications and experience

  • 10+ years of product management experience within a hardware/software environment;
  • Be comfortable diving deep into technical topics and excel at building rapport with engineering/R&D teams;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet/talk to customers;
  • Constantly be delivering exceptional strategic thinking and strong abilities to distil large amounts of information quickly and accurately;
  • Feel comfortable creating and maintaining operational processes;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communications;
  • Have experience in engineering and product development at a growing start-up/tech company environment;
  • Be a passionate, hungry learner that gets excited about professional growth and being challenged by new opportunities;
  • Love being collaborative and team-oriented while accomplishing goals;
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple company-wide goals and working with multiple teams at once;
  • Stakeholder engagement skills that motivate and persuade both internal and external teams;
