Sion Rowlands

Sion Rowlands has a diverse work experience, spanning over a decade. Sion started their career as a GIS Officer at Flintshire County Council in 2008, where they worked until 2012. Sion then joined the KOREC Group, initially as a Technical Analyst, before transitioning to Geospatial Sales Consultant and eventually Senior Sales Consultant. In 2017, Sion joined Topcon Positioning GB & Ireland as a Business Development Manager, where they stayed until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Sales Manager for Europe at Microdrones®. Currently, Sion holds the position of EMEA Business Development Lead at Advanced Navigation since September 2020, and more recently, they have been promoted to Head of Sales EMEA in July 2021.

Sion Rowlands completed their education in the field of geospatial studies. Sion attended Newcastle University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying with a specialization in Geospatial studies. Following this, they pursued further studies at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2011 to 2014, earning a Master of Science degree in Geomatics, again focusing on Geospatial studies.
