Mikal Abraha

Mikal Abraha is an experienced healthcare professional with a background in both nursing and biotechnology. Currently serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Advanced Nursing & Home Support since July 2016, Mikal assists patients with daily activities and medication reminders. Previous roles include ED Medical Scribe at Vituity and Manufacturing Development Engineer at PathSensors, Inc., a biotechnology firm specializing in biothreat detection technology. Mikal also held leadership positions as Student Council President and Student Ambassador at The Universities at Shady Grove, promoting campus awareness and providing tours. Additionally, experience includes working as a Bioproduction and Bioprocessing Technician at the University of Maryland, managing laboratory operations and cell culture maintenance.
