Krystal Lu

Krystal Lu is an experienced researcher and outreach coordinator with a diverse background in healthcare and public health. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at NC AHEC since April 2024 and previously in research roles at the Hantman Lab and Mei Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, Krystal also holds positions as the Get Covered Carolina Outreach Coordinator and a Certified Application Counselor with the Student Health Action Coalition since April 2023. In addition, Krystal works as a Certified Nursing Assistant I with UNC Health and has interned at Children's Mercy Kansas City. Educationally, Krystal is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a Bachelor of Science with minors in Neuroscience and Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, building upon a solid foundation from Mallard Creek High School.
