Hycham Aboutaleb, PhD ✅

Hycham Aboutaleb, PhD has a wealth of experience in the field of Systems Engineering. Hycham began their career in 2008 as a Software Engineer Intern at Thales, where they developed software test plans and analysis for verification and validation, as well as writing documentation and specifications. In 2009, they joined Knowledge Inside as a System Engineer, where they were a functional/technical consultant and developed new methodology to adapt norm ISO 15288 to Public Works, as well as piloting the implementation of software tool solutions and deploying the solution for 3 tenders. In 2012, they joined ENSTA ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées as a Research Engineer, where they were involved in the DEPARTS Project, benchmarking existing safety and reliability norms and standards in different industrial sectors, and defining a new methodology and a unified Metamodel integrating both System Engineering and Safety Engineering processes. In 2018, they joined Advanced Oncotherapy plc as Deputy Group Leader of the Systems Engineering group, Senior Systems Engineer, and Systems Engineer, where they were involved in Requirements Engineering, Elicitation, writing and management of system requirements, refinement of System Requirements into technical requirements for each sub-system (software and hardware subsystems) and traceability, as well as System Architecture, definition of a model-based System Architecture, and performance analysis.

Hycham Aboutaleb, PhD, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University in 2007. Hycham then went on to obtain their Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from École Polytechnique in 2009. In 2011, they completed their Doctoral Program in Management from École des Ponts Business School. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer and System Engineering from École Polytechnique in 2015. Hycham Aboutaleb, PhD, also attended Lycée Louis-le-Grand from 2001 to 2002 and Lycée Louis Massignon at an unknown time.
