Dr Eduardo Mangieri

Dr. Eduardo Mangieri is the founder and executive chairman of Sparca since July 2019. Dr Eduardo is also the founder and executive chairman of AOS Advanced Ophthalmic Systems since September 2014. Prior to their role as executive chairman, they served as the founder and CEO of AOS Advanced Ophthalmic Systems from September 2014 to July 2019.

Dr. Eduardo Mangieri began their education journey in 2002 when they enrolled at the University of Hull. Dr Eduardo pursued a BEng degree in Electronics Engineering and successfully completed it in 2005.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Dr. Mangieri decided to further their education. In 2005, they enrolled at Newcastle University and pursued an MSc degree in Microelectronics (Design & Technology). Dr Eduardo completed this program in 2006.

Following their MSc degree, Dr. Mangieri continued their studies at the University of Southampton. Dr Eduardo pursued an MSc degree in System on Chip and successfully completed it in 2007.

Dr. Mangieri's educational journey culminated with their pursuit of a Ph.D. degree in Medical Electronics at the University of Southampton. Dr Eduardo began this program in 2007 and completed it in 2010.
