Jim Dechant

Jim DeChant has extensive experience in sales and marketing within the coatings industry, holding various positions over several decades. Most recently, Jim served as Global Transportation Sales Manager at Advanced Polymer Coatings, Inc. since January 2017, after a tenure as Chief Strategy Officer at Hempel A/S from May 2013 to January 2017. Earlier roles include Industrial Sales Manager at Advanced Polymers and National Account Manager at ICI Paints, where responsibilities encompassed national account sales strategies and brand management for ICI Devoe Coatings. Jim began a career in sales and marketing at ICI Paints North America and other associated companies from 1977 to 2009. Jim holds a BSBA in Marketing from John Carroll University.
