Arunan Skandarajah

Arunan Skandarajah, PhD, has extensive experience in biomedical research and technology transition, currently serving at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) as a scientific and strategic advisor. With previous roles as a Presidential Innovation Fellow at the White House and the FDA, Skandarajah has focused on leveraging data and AI to enhance health outcomes. As a Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, significant contributions were made to digital health and diagnostics, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Skandarajah's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and multiple roles in research and teaching at various prestigious institutions.
