Brittany Patterson

Brittany Patterson has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. Brittany is currently working as the Chief of the Administrative Compliance Branch at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), where they play a key role in shaping administrative policies. Prior to this, they served as the Compensation and Leave Policy Program Manager - HR Specialist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from 2021 to 2023.

From 2016 to 2021, Brittany worked at the National Institutes of Health, where they held the position of Supervisory Human Resources Specialist. In this role, they supervised staff, managed various HR systems, and provided expert guidance on leave and workplace flexibility policies. Brittany also developed guidance materials and solved complex payroll issues during their tenure.

Before joining the NIH, Brittany worked in the hospitality industry as a Human Resources Manager at Omni Hotels & Resorts from 2014 to 2016 and as a Human Resources Generalist at Omni Hotels from 2010 to 2012. Brittany also gained leadership experience as an Executive Team Leader Softlines at Target from 2012 to 2013.

Brittany's early career includes a role as a Vault Teller at JP Morgan Chase Bank from 2007 to 2010. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in HR, compliance, policy development, and employee relations.

Brittany Patterson had a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Louisiana Tech University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2009. Later, between 2013 and 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Texas Southern University.
