Gina Kost has extensive work experience in various roles within the science and research field. From 2023, they serve as Deputy Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) in the Resilient Systems Office. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisory Scientist at Strategic Analysis Incorporated starting in 2012. From 2009 to 2012, they held the position of Associate Director of R&D at Rexahn Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for preclinical research and development of oncology and CNS-related therapeutics, project management, and data analysis. Gina began their career as a Research Assistant at George Washington University in 2006.
Gina Kost received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia in 2004. Gina later pursued their PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Oncology from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, completing it in 2009.
