Melissa Antman has over 20 years of work experience in various organizations. Melissa is currently working as the Deputy Director of Project Accelerator Transition Innovation Office at Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) since November 2022. Before that, they served as a Senior Scientific Program Analyst in the Immediate Office of the Director at The National Institutes of Health from July 2021 to November 2022. Melissa also gained experience in industry as a Senior Research Investigator II at Bristol-Myers Squibb from August 2003 to June 2007 and as a Senior Research Scientist at Pharmacia from November 1998 to July 2003.

Melissa Antman earned their A.B. degree from Dartmouth College from 1989 to 1993, and later pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1993 to 1998.
