Bill Rever

Bill Rever has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bill is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Advanced Silicon Group, a position they have held since 2015. Prior to that, they were the Owner and Principal at WB Rever Associates, which provides strategic consulting in solar and renewable energy. Bill has been working there since 2012 and offers expertise in technology, policy, and markets.

In addition, Bill Rever has served as an Advisory Board Partner at X-Roads Partners since 2014.

Before their current roles, Bill Rever worked at BP Solar as a Strategic Marketing Manager from 2003 to 2011, and as a Senior Manager for Business Development from 2000 to 2003.

Their earlier experience includes roles at Solarex, where they worked as a Marketing Manager from 1995 to 2000, a Product Manager from 1984 to 1995, and an Applications Engineer from 1982 to 1984.

Throughout their career, Bill Rever has gained expertise in areas such as strategy, business development, market intelligence, and expert testimony in the solar and renewable energy industry.

Bill Rever earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics, Economics, and Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University from 1975 to 1979. Bill then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Science in Energy Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, studying from 1979 to 1982. During the same period, they also attended The Wharton School where they acquired a Master of Business Administration, specializing in Management Science, Marketing, and Finance.
