Don Lochner

Don Lochner is an experienced Technical Project Manager and GN&C Manager at ASI by Rocket Lab since January 2022. Prior to this role, Don held multiple positions at Lockheed Martin from July 2016 to January 2022, including GN&C Engineering Manager, where contributions were made to the GPS III Attitude Control System and the Orion Launch Abort System. Don's career began at United Launch Alliance (ULA) from December 2006 to July 2016, where leadership was demonstrated as the Human Launch Services Integrated Test Environment Project Lead, and control dynamics analyses were conducted for crewed space missions. Earlier experience at Lockheed Martin included work as an Atlas V Launch Vehicle Control Dynamics Engineer. Don earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
