Gerritt Luoma

Gerritt Luoma is an Embedded Flight Software Engineer II at ASI by Rocket Lab since June 2023, following a role as Embedded Software Engineer I at DISH Network from June 2021 to June 2023. Prior to these positions, Gerritt served as an Assistant Swim Coach for the Platte Canyon Pirhanas, contributing to a third-place finish at state for a team of approximately 100 swimmers aged 5-18. Experience also includes work as a Student Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on robotics that mimic biological systems, and as a General Laborer at ESD Structural Decks. Earlier roles include Servers Assistant at The Melting Pot Restaurants and Sailing Instructor at Community Sailing of Colorado, where Gerritt designed and taught lessons for youth sailing camps. Education includes a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Data Processing from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed in 2021.
