Tanner Schaack

Tanner Schaack is a GN&C Engineer at ASI by Rocket Lab since September 2021, specializing in GN&C analysis and design for satellite systems. Previously, Tanner worked as a Navigation Software Engineer at Draper, focusing on developing navigation solutions for flight vehicles, including responsibilities related to Unscented Kalman filter design and sensor modeling. As an Electrical Engineer at Dynetics, Inc., Tanner assessed the performance of radar seeker platforms for anti-ballistic missile interceptors. Early career experiences include an Entrepreneur Scholar Intern at Missouri S&T, where Tanner developed a wireless irrigation control system, and a Packaging Innovation and Technical Development Co-op at Anheuser-Busch InBev, managing packaging trials. Tanner holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in Perception & Autonomy from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
