Galen Savidge

Galen Savidge is an experienced aerospace and robotics engineer with a robust background in astrodynamics, satellite navigation, and guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems. Currently serving as an Astrodynamics & Satellite Navigation Engineer at Advanced Space since January 2024, Galen has previously held positions including GNC Engineering Intern at Odyssey Space Research and Associate GNC Engineer at Astranis Space Technologies, where significant contributions included the development of custom dynamic simulations and GNC algorithm testing. Additionally, Galen led a team at SlugSat to design a CubeSat attitude control system and has experience tutoring in microprocessor system design. Galen earned a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
