Stelle Shakti, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in research, counseling, and therapy. Stelle began their career as a Research Assistant at the UQ Institute for Molecular Bioscience in 2003 and later worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution from 2004 to 2005. Stelle then joined Fondation Isrec, formerly known as Institut suisse de recherche, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher, Marie Curie Research Fellow, and Roche Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, they returned to the UQ Institute for Molecular Bioscience as a Research Officer until 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Research Officer at the Translational Research Institute Australia from 2020 to 2021. In 2019, they transitioned into counseling and therapy, working as a Holistic Counsellor & Psychotherapist at Breathe Again, focusing on women's mental health. Stelle further expanded their counseling expertise by serving as a Holistic Relationship Counsellor at Deep Connection Relationship Counselling from 2022. Additionally, they founded their own venture, Cultivate Courage, in 2022, where they offered holistic cancer counseling services. Stelle Shakti, PhD has a diverse education history. In 1994, they began their undergraduate studies at The University of Queensland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Genetics in 1997. Stelle continued their education at the same university and earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Molecular Genetics in 1998. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Genetics and Developmental Biology at The University of Queensland, which they completed in 2003. In 2016, they attended the Metavision Institute and participated in a Professional Training program in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. This program lasted until 2019.
