Lissy Matthews

Lissy Matthews has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lissy currently serves as the Marketing Director at Advancing Eco Agriculture since January 2023. Prior to this, Lissy was the Brand & Marketing Manager for Specialty Grains & Snacks at Above Food from August 2019 to January 2023. From August 2019 to July 2022, they worked as the Brand and Marketing Manager at Farmer Direct Organic. Lissy gained significant experience as the Regional Manager and Regional Sales and Account Manager at Counter Culture Coffee from May 2017 to July 2019. Before that, they were the Sales & Education Manager at Kickapoo Coffee Roasters from September 2015 to April 2017. Lissy also worked as the Marketing & Retail Sales Manager at Ann Marie's Coffee & Tea from October 2014 to August 2015. Lissy served as the General Manager - Humboldt Café at Colectivo Coffee from March 2014 to September 2014 and as a Barista and Shift Leader from March 2012 to March 2014. Lissy started their career as a Refugee Resettlement Field Intern at The International Institute of Wisconsin from August 2013 to January 2014 and as a Community Outreach Intern at Les YMCA du Québec from May 2013 to July 2013.

Lissy Matthews attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Global Studies. In 2011, they participated in an English Exchange Program at Sciences Po. Lissy also holds additional certifications, including an Instructor certification from the Specialty Coffee Association and an SCA Level 2 Barista Certification.
