Emelie Jansson has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Emelie currently holds the position of Business and Human Rights specialist and Head of Compliance at Advania Group since 2023. Prior to this, they gained significant experience in the field of human rights and anti-corruption as the Head of Human Rights & Anti-Corruption at Ethos from 2018 to 2023. In this role, they were responsible for managing business and human rights, conducting human rights due diligence, impact assessments, and sustainability audits. Emelie also served as a Sustainability Advisor and trainee at Ethos from 2019 to 2021 and 2018 respectively. Emelie also has experience as a Law Student Trainee at Hannes Snellman in 2017 and as a Research Assistant at Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law from 2016 to 2017. Emelie started their career as an Office Support at Roschier, Attorneys Ltd. in 2015 and worked as a Project Manager at the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Sweden from 2014 to 2015.

Emelie Jansson completed their education at Stockholm University from 2014 to 2019, obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a focus on Juridik. In addition, they have obtained certifications in various courses. In August 2019, they completed the SA8000® Introduction and Basic Auditor Training Course offered by Social Accountability International. Furthermore, in August 2017, they completed the Hannes Snellman Summer School: Intensive Course on Corporate Responsibility and Compliance provided by Hannes Snellman.
